Barn Owl & Kingfisher - 29 February

Finally had more success in getting close enough to the Barn Owl at Pinkhill this afternoon, when it briefly showed in very windy conditions. Unfortunately this time, I didn't see it catch anything whereas on other visits recently I've seen it being quite successful.

Prior to that I had also finally managed to get a shot of the Kingfisher, on the perch and the nearby tree in reasonable light, at about 11:00. However it didn't stay long. So a better than average visit!
